We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to lead our creative team, oversee project execution, and deliver exceptional design work that aligns with our clients’ visions and goals.

 

Role Overview:

As a Senior Graphic Designer at MiBanana, you will be the creative leader responsible for driving the design process from concept to execution. You will oversee the development of visual content for various mediums, ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and creativity. In addition to hands-on design work, you will lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that inspires creativity and delivers results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Direction & Execution: Lead the conceptualization and execution of design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and client objectives across various mediums, including print, digital, and multimedia.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and creativity.
  • Project Planning & Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Brand Development: Oversee the creation and evolution of brand identities, ensuring consistency and excellence across all visual elements.
  • Design Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table, pushing the boundaries of design to create unique and compelling visual content.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and refine ideas based on feedback, ensuring a successful partnership and client satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Review and approve all design work, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and alignment with project goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure cohesive and effective visual communication across all channels.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of design processes and regularly report on project progress and team performance to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Technical Expertise: Mastery of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), and a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a design team, with strong mentoring and team-building skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Creative Vision: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, from concept to execution, demonstrating creative problem-solving and innovation.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards for quality and precision in all aspects of design work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts to clients and team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements and client feedback.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in graphic design or related disciplines.
  • Experience with Branding: Extensive experience in developing and managing brand identities across various mediums.
  • Experience with Digital Design: Strong understanding of digital design principles, including UI/UX design and responsive design for web and mobile.
